The Balancing Act

Life is a balancing act. I am one who knows. I have work, school, coaching, running a business, church, family, and my love life. So I have come up with different ways to balance allllllllll the things I need to get done. Something that helps me center myself to be able to get things done is MEDITATION.
Seriously, meditation has helped keep my sanity. I sit whether in my office, the car, my room, wherever I am and I close my eyes and think on the scripture Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."
Now if you aren't a spiritual person that is fine. Think on something that helps relieve stress, tension, and that centers YOU! After I center myself I prioritize what needs to be done first. Though you may be thinking, "I don't have the time to sit here and do all of this." Really you can, prioritizing is essential to helping get the most out of your day.
Another thing that helps me is saying NO!!!! Saying no is very important. DO NOT OVERWORK YOURSELF!! Saying no is not a bad thing at all!!! JUST SAY NO!!! You can do it alllllll!!! Just make sure you have time and energy for yourself. Self care is not selfish! Steal at least 30 minutes of time for yourself a day. That is giving your body time to charge and your mind time to rest. Lastly, don't compare yourself to other people on social media. Everyone is different, what one person did or is doing in life is what works for them. Find out what works for you and be your own GOALS!!!!
